Owning designer lipstick always makes you feel good, and rather posh. Or if your like me re-applying in in Costa on a Saturday afternoon is the top of sophistication. (Yes I know my life is so exciting.)
Owning said designer lipsticks though always comes at a price that damages your bank account.
Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shine lipstick in the shade ‘Boy’ although lovely and a really nice thing to own isn’t really worth the £24 is retails for here in the UK.
It’s soft on your lips and there is no need for a balm under it, but it has no staying power at all. All it really does it look pretty in your handbag.
A great dupe for this however is Revlon’s lip butter in ‘Peach Parfait’. It’s an exact match and unlike the Chanel lipstick it actually has some staying power, when drinking your coffee.
Revlon Lip Butters will also be kinder to your bank account. You also with this do not need a balm. It’s exactly the same thing just the packaging isn’t as fancy looking, and at £8 a tube I can live with that!
